BASIC INFORMATION ON PROCESSING
We process your data for these purposes:
- Implementation of the application procedure,
- Contract initiation and establishment of an employment relationship,
- Inclusion in the applicant pool, if applicable.
We process your data based on these legal bases:
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR - for the initiation of a contract and establishment of an employment relationship
- Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR - Consent
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Your application details (contact details, CV, qualifications, professional information, proof of previous employment, portrait photo, salary request if applicable)
We have obtained the data from the following sources:
- by the persons concerned electronically (in rare cases also by post)
The provision of your data is voluntary. If you do not provide us with individual data, the application process may not be carried out correctly. No automated decision-making / profiling takes place as part of this processing.
RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS TO WHOM THE DATA MAY BE DISCLOSED
To perform our tasks, to conduct your request or to fulfill a legal obligation, it is necessary to pass on your personal data to the recipients named below:
- Internal recipients: HR administration, Management Board, if applicable, respective line managers and stakeholders relevant to the position in the subsidiaries of Müller-BBM AG
- As part of order processing: IT service provider, SaaS provider of our company software (HR Works), HR departments of the subsidiaries of Müller-BBM AG
DATA TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES / INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Data is not transferred to third countries.
DURATION OF STORAGE
We process and store your personal data as long as this is necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship.
The data will be deleted after the applicable retention periods have expired. These are:
- Your application documents will be deleted no later than 6 months after rejection.
- If consent is given for further use for other relevant vacant positions, the data will be stored until revoked, but for no longer than one year.
- If an employment relationship is established, the application documents are filed for at least the period of employment.
YOUR RIGHTS AS AN AFFECTED PERSON
You can exercise the following rights at any time by contacting our data protection officer at the e-mail address given above:

- Correction of incorrect personal data,
- Deletion,
- Restriction of data processing,
- Data portability,
- Revocation of your consent and
- Objection (see information on objection under Article 21 GDPR).
If you have given us your consent to process your data, you can revoke this at any time with effect for the future.

Individual right of objection
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR (data processing based on a balancing of interests).
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
