On March 25, 1962, the then-named Müller-BBN GmbH was founded as a “sound engineering consulting office.” With the support of Bolt, Beranek & Newman (BBN) from Boston, USA, a small engineering company grew into a successful engineering firm. It has since developed into a medium-sized group of companies with 30 companies and 1,200 employees worldwide, which are consolidated under the umbrella of Müller-BBM Holding AG, which will operate under the name Müller-BBM AG from September 7, 2022.

A motivating corporate culture with a unique employee participation model provided the breeding ground for creative ideas, which were gradually developed into an expanded range of services and a diverse product portfolio. A commitment to quality and technological leadership, as well as consistent customer focus, have always been the basis for the strategic development of the companies in the group, which today comprises the business areas of engineering services, plant engineering, and products.

In response to the changing market requirements, the broad positioning of Müller-BBM GmbH is being transformed into an industry-oriented structure. From September 1, 2022, builders, planners, architects, and project managers will find their usual contacts at the newly founded Müller-BBM Building Solutions GmbH, which will take over the business operations of the CONSTRUCTION division within Müller-BBM GmbH as its legal successor.

The consulting and testing services in immission control and environmental protection and in technical acoustics, which are currently bundled in the TECHNOLOGY and ENVIRONMENT divisions of Müller-BBM GmbH, will now be marketed under the name Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH (instead of Müller-BBM GmbH) with the same high quality and expertise.
